BuddhaFest LA: Films, Talks, Meditation and Music

This is our 10th BuddhaFest, and it will be our third festival in Los Angeles, after several years in Washington, DC. BuddhaFest embraces the principles of mindfulness and compassion through a unique mix of inspiring films, modern wisdom teachings, meditation and live music.

This tribute will honor his life, and the power of Socially Engaged Buddhism. Speakers include Roshi Joan Halifax, Roshi Pat Enkyo O'Hara, Roshi Wendy Egyoku Nakao, Roshi Fleet Maull, Peter Cunningham, Moshe Cohen, and more! 50% of the net proceeds will benefit Zen Peacemakers International, which Bernie co-founded.

Saturday, June 1, 10:00 am-5:00 pm: A day of talks and meditation with Robert A.F. Thurman, Roshi Joan Halifax, Sylvia Boorstein, Norman Fischer, Dawa Tarchin Phillips, and Tibetan Dr. Nida Chenagtsang. Plus a musical performance by Drukmo Gyal Dakini of Tibet.
